Handcrafted in Detroit, this beautiful individually hand-pressed and glazed tile by Pewabic features the original design created by Pewabic's founder Mary Chase Perry Stratton created in 1916. This tile says "In Detroit, life is worth living" and features the wooden Belle Isle Bridge and the old Detroit skyline, plus symbols representing industry, agriculture, nautical industries, and construction. This tile is 4"x4" is available in 4 different glazes: Cobalt, Leaf, Pewabic Blue or Pewabic Green. Please note, there will be slight variations in the glaze, which ensures the handcrafted charm of each Pewabic tile!
